Initially attending Howard University with the desire of becoming a doctor, Shannon decided to switch majors after taking a photography class her sophmore year. From that point on design and photography became a permanent fixture in her life. In addition to maintaining her studies, Shannon found time to produce commissioned pieces for colleagues, friends & family during her college years.

Since graduating from Howard University in 2002, Shannon has relocated to New York City (then San Francisco & back) where she has continued channeling her creativity as a freelance consultant, creative director, producer and illustrator. Some of her notable clients and work appearances over the years have included urban & luxury brands, media & entertainment companies, recording artists and magazines. In addition to her work, Shannon is also known for her solid network and flair for connecting the right people at the right time. It is a talent that she has cultivated while building a stellar roster of supporters, clients and references. When Shannon is not at work, she is jetting off to a global destination, in search of new inspiration and style.

Currently, she freelancing in New York City for a strong caliber of technology & lifestyle brands as a Creative Director & Producer. She just recently graduated from her post as a Senior Creative at US Concepts/MKTG, where she was focusing on experiential marketing and event design. She is a former Art Director of the Carol H. Williams Agency, previously to that, she was the Art Director in Marketing for Current TV.
